Doctor who ??

Yes this is Doc Martin country, though that is not the reason we come here. We come because we stay nearby & we just love this particular area on the North Cornwall coast.

We drove the 3 miles here today parked in the top car park then ambled down the steep hill to the harbour. Once there I wanted to walk up Roscarrock Hill where the fictional doctor lives. Again managed to get to the top but halfway down we had to stop at the Old Chapel Pottery & Tea Room.

The Doc "lives" in the house on the far right of the picture; a modest detached house built of stone & brick.

Having been revitalised in the Tea Room we started back calling at all the shops en-route !! Had a good Ice Cream as it was really hot & managed to get back to the car just as the ticket expired.

Popped into Wadebridge fa bit later or a quick nose & some supplies.

Home again by news time absolutely tatered - what a fabulously warm day again...rain tomorrow however.

I'd like to visit Roche tomorrow to see a ruined chapel set in a rocky outcrop...
