Praha Day 2

Our journey out from Edinburgh on Jet2.com was rather uncomfortable. His Lordship who was in the middle seat of three had a very large gentleman sitting beside him who overlapped his seat, so that we spent 2+ hours with our arms across our chests. However everything went well after that and the hotel was/is good if not a bit out of the centre and far too warm for us, used as we are to sleeping in 10 degrees. Our fellow tour members in the hotel are from Dublin and such good company.

This morning we had a guided tour ot the centre of Prague in the rain. It was enjoyable in a miserable sort of way! Our tour guide spoke impeccable English and was a mine of information, most of which I've forgotten already, but which I hope to read about tonight in my guide book.
I remember there being lots of beautiful churches and fantastic buildings. The views from the castle area would have been amazing had we been able to see through the mist.
What with the rain and the hordes of tourists, and trying to follow our guide's purple umbrella, it was difficult to get really good photos and not get left behind. Tomorrow we are going to be on our own and that should be better.
My blip today is of a typical street view looking up towards the castle area.

Tonight we have signed up for a trip which includes dinner and some folk dancing.
I shall have to hold back his Lordship or I wager he'll be up there strutting his stuff!!
