Stripy Snail Counting

Well not much of a choice today re my blip. It was either the Lessor Spotted Plastic Bottle or the Stripy Snails.

These Stripy Snails were climbing dried out Stinging Nettle stems. This morning I found myself not only counting stem, of which there were 47, but also counting snails of which there were 99! So, nigh on two to each stem, but why this morning there was so much activity on these stems and not the next clump some six foot away, I'm not sure.

Our Sheba was very patient with her best friend, little things come to mind, poor old chap...
