Started making the gingerbread house this afternoon. I ran across a bag of traditional mixed candies that I thought would work great on the house. Now, I'm just waiting for the husband to get home to help me finish - the danged icing is so thick that my hands ache after just a minute of squeezing. Hmph.

Also finished the gingercreams today. Many hours spent rolling the dough into tiny balls finished by more rolling in sugar and precise placement on the cookie sheet. Tip: Put the sugar in a plastic baggy and throw 20+ balls in at a time and just shake the bag. It cut my time in half without having to hand roll each ball in sugar!
