Jamies

Jamie Oliver aka ‘The Naked chef', is a phenomenon in the world of food and is one of the world's best-loved television personalities. He has inspired people to spend more time enjoying being in the kitchen and even start growing their own food! His high street restaurant collection 'Jamie's Italian' is hugely popular across the UK and the fifteen restaurant group started in 2002 in Oxford.

We went for lunch to his restaurant in Threadneedle Street today, for a colleagues leaving lunch from work. It’s the superstar flagship of the Jamie’s Italian restaurants, a previous Bank of Scotland building in the heart of the city and retains many of the original bank’s features.

Food was definitely better than the last time I was there, the olives on ice for starters were good and the tiramisu was yum! A bit pricey I think, but the atmosphere and the features in the building are beautiful!

Lunch was great, its the going back to work after which is not so great...
