Linga, the local ferry that usually runs to Whalsay is currently moored in Lerwick Harbour for a spot of annual TLC. It appears to be enjoying the experience.

I ventured into Lerwick this morning to look at the new exhibition in the Museum - Writing the North. It's the end event of a year long project celebrating writing in and about Shetland and Orkney.

If you are able to get to Shetland before 10th May its well worth a visit (or course no visit to Shetland would be complete without going to the Shetland Museum).

And for those of you following these things. Today failed the Fair Isle test.
