The Rain in Spain

We woke up this morning to thick Saharan red sand covering our patio, first floor balcony and roof terrace! Never seen it quite so bad all the time we've lived here. Bb set at it all with a hose and managed to get most of it clean. We saw my mum-in-law off at the airport and she's now safely back home in Largs. The house is always quiet and it's a bit sad when a visitor leaves, especially family, and I kept expecting to see her on the sofa or making herself a cup of tea. It won't be quiet for long though as another family member and blipper arrives in Spain tomorrow.

My blip's through the window of a little place where we had coffee after we'd had a really nice, very reasonable menu del dia on Calle Majorca with Calle Muntaner in Eixample. It's on on our list of return to places now.
