Latest visitor

This English Daisy is something I recalled from when I lived here before. It would peek from the grass as a little surprise and each time I thought it was ashame to have to mow over it but was thrilled to have these lovely blossoms in the yard. Unlike English Ivy, the daisies were welcome to roam as they would. I can't imagine why ivy doesn't cover the island and why English daisies don't.
