Cormorant - Taylor Dam

I took a quick trip up to the Taylor Dam this morning. Contractors were there busy working on the outflow of the dam. That was interesting to observe and I captured some images thinking I might blip one. But then I turned my attention to the lake. The light was lovely and the scenery so much prettier than the outlet area.
This cormorant took off from the water’s surface. Although it is not a good image of the bird I really liked the colours reflected on the water and the minimalist feel to the image.
