Up close and personal

I'm surprised this guy is still around. It's been very cold lately! And right now, it's pouring rain. We are expected to get 3 inches in the next couple of days. We passed a house today that had snow all over their front yard! Looks like they trucked it in from the mountains and made their own winter wonderland. Looked pretty crazy in the middle of a middle class suburban neighborhood!

I met dear friends for coffee (chai tea for me, please) this morning. We chatted mostly about the troubles of our school district and how [they ought] to fix them.
