Christmas has come to our office today - well, we put a bit of tinsel round the new monitor and a weird little Christmas tree that we found in the box of decorations. Not much of a festive spirit, but better than nothing.

I popped along to the Uni staff Xmas party tonight in the Student Union for a short while - just to show willing. There was a free glass of wine and a buffet, but the room was so dark (to create atmosphere??) that you had no idea what you were eating! Next week is the library Xmas meal at Zizzi's which should be much more fun - at least the lights should be on.
