In 2012, 83 animals were killed or injured on New Forest roads. The New Forest Trust has developed a range of reflective paints and stickers to go on the ponies and donkey's bottoms to help make them visible at night. Tom came up with the brand name 'Poominous', which made us laugh.

No-one's volunteering to stick high-vis stickers on the cows' bottoms though, which is a shame, as I fell in love with this sweet bunch who were wandering about in the middle of the road today.
