Flax leaf with rain drops.

Dull & overcast, and later this afternoon it started with a misty, drizzly rain. Just enough to get you wet if you went outside.
I took Poppy for a walk over to the next bay in the garden of the Lodge, and found this coloured flax. There were a couple of azaleas with a few flowers on each of them.
PJ had Gypsy with him, while cutting some timber for a neighbour who is going to build a trellis for his garden - but not for roses. They have only recently moved here and have completely re-done the gardens, and during that process have managed to kill the roses. I said that would be hard to do, and he said that they keep popping back up, and growing!! Seems a shame to me, but it's their garden, and they can grown what they like.
I've managed to get some more apples bottled this afternoon.
Off to Picton early in the morning for a meeting.
