Last rose of summer

Well, not really because the bush is covered with flowers.

I went down to the back garden today - for the first time in forever, and found to my surprise that this David Austin Rose is blooming all over again. Don't ask me which one it is, because I've long forgotten, but it's an enormous bush - maybe 10 ft tall!

The bees were ballistically gathering pollen, as you see.

I also found that my tomatoes are flowering all over again, so I hope tere are a few blue banded bees still around to pollinate them. I'll have to check tomorrow morning and see. It's still fairly warm, so they still be flying.
