Stairway to justice

Had a great day out in Brussels with my friend Vicky. We had a quick look to see if Manneken Pis was wearing his best for Easter (not yet!), went to the Galleries Saint Hubert to see the Easter displays in the chocolate shops, then off the Marolles to see the antique/vintage/junk shops and the flea market. Had lunch at the flea market, then off to see the Palais de Justice/Justice Palace , the Egmont Orangerie park and the Petit Sablon park, before ending the tour of the centre with hot chocolate at the Galleries Saint Hubert again.

The image is of the ornamental stairs outside of the Palais de Justice, one of the prestigious buildings and the biggest court of law in Brussels. The statues represent the Roman jurists Cicero and Ulpian, by sculptor Antoine-Félix Bouré.
