Blossom at Mottistone Gardens

On the way to the camera club meeting on a beautiful sunny afternoon I called in at the nearby Mottistone Manor Gardens a National Trust property which nestles in a secluded valley close to the South coast of the Island.

In high summer the gardens are a joy to see and are just coming to life with some beautiful blossom on the trees. In the next few weeks the surrounding woods will be full of bluebells which will be another good reason for visiting.

Needless to say there is a very nice tea garden in the grounds and the Manor House which is lived in is open to the public a couple of times in the year.
