But my lounge is not the place for swimming.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a swimming pool though? Mind you, I think it would join the legion of things that seemed like a good idea at the time that are now lying idle; seldom if ever used:

~ The exercise mat
~ The kettle bells
~ The bread maker
~ The cooks blowtorch
~ The potato ricer
~ The TV and blu ray player in the chill out room
~ The wine carafes

To name just a few, and the list will doubtless continue to grow.

Job application submitted last night - just before the deadline. Let's see how this pans out. It's strange applying for a job that you don't need or desperately want. Wonder if being laid back will improve performance at interview or hinder it.
