Snug

Up earls for a watermelon and croissant breakfast. We set off for the Notre Dame, our map skills have improved. It was actually lovely and sunny so we walked all day along the river to the Louvre, sat in the park for a rest and did some drawings. We then headed in a straight line to the Arch De Triumph with a detour to various museums to try and find loos (I feel Parisians have significantly better bladders than us). We stopped in another park for lunch, then after a bit of confusion got to the Arch and found we could go up it for free! Yay for being under 25 and European. We had walked all day by this point but headed to the Eiffel Tower, stopped for a peach iced tea and then decided we deserved to get the Metro home.

We had a reduv and a bit of a collage before heading out for dinner in a place behind the Sacre Cour. I tried snails - um, maybe not again. We sat next to (too close) an annoying American couple who ate burgers and moaned. We walked home and had wine and cigars on the balcon. So French.
