The last night of the ACCU conference is often a little long. This time the conference dinner had a Bollywood theme, complete with a dancing troupe from Sheffield.

By the time this photo was taken they had shuffled off stage, the poppadums, dhals and "refrigerator" cheesecake had been cleared away and most of the more sensible delegates had gone to bed.

John (for it was he) had said goodnight uncharacterstically early, only to reappear some minutes later with his laundry. Here you see him modeling a pair of Jim Beam boxers, worn superhero-style.
