Chocolate soufflé

A quiet day at home. Angus and I worked on his hut, while Claire and Megan went off to Crieff.

We're eating exclusively from the freezer, so it was beef casserole in the newly repaired slow cooker. And the chooks are dropping eggs by the dozen, so I followed it with chocolate soufflé. Yum, yum.

The only problem was the dumplings which were made with vege suet of Acme vintage and were, consequently, inedible. Anyone want a box of suet 8 years past its best-before date?
