A new attraction has just opened at the Isle of Wight steam Railway so I called in to have a first look and will blip it in more detail tomorrow.

This is John who is one of the volunteer magicians of the carriage and wagon workshop who renovate pieces of scrap metal and rotten timber into as new rolling stock for use on the railway.

I am in awe of their skill and patience putting in hundreds of unpaid hours just for the satisfaction of craftsmanship. The quality of their finished work would have astonished the carriage builders of old.
