A view from Jeanneb

By Jeanneb53

Monday but not a bit mono!

More glorious spring sunshine for our Monday morning walk.

We extended the usual,'Two sides of Wilsden' walk to take in Wilsden Hill leading to this brilliant vista.

There were great views too looking back to our village when we rounded the hill on our return, but I chose this for my blip as it essentially shows where we walked yesterday from the other side.

Straight ahead is the village of Cullingworth; in the bottom of the valley are the trees of Goit Stock. Central is the familiar Hewenden viaduct and reservoir which we walked under and around and in the far distance to the left is Denholme Edge the furthest point of our walk.

In the foreground are walking companions S, A, Toby and Buster and you may be able to spot my shadow!

A great start to the week.
