Wine with a Twist?

Grabbing a sprig of forget-me-not and a glass of wine water, I set about producing my interpretation of submerged, which is Chantler63's Shakespeare Challenge for April for today.

This is another word supposedly invented by Shakespeare, and used by Cleopatra on hearing that Antony was married to Octavia:

Messenger: Should I lie madam?

Cleopatra: O, I would though didst, so half my Egypt were submerged and made a cistern for scaled snakes!
