The Sorting.

Mrs TD and a friend spent a significant part of the day sorting out Linus quilts. This was required as they don’t all go to the children’s hospital, there are a number of charities who benefit from the donations including a women's refuge and a hospice. I sometimes help with the delivery of them, it’s lovely to see the delight on the faces of the nurses or carers who take them for distribution, but I often wish it were possible for us to meet some of the final recipients. However, we do receive some very appreciative “thank-you” letters; they've even been known to bring a tear to this hardened cynic’s eye.

The latest personal news is that Sis is going to visit TOL tomorrow for the day and will report back. In the meantime, we are confident that she is in loving and caring hands.
