Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Imagine

Imagine April 14th in NYC with shorts on! Beautiful day so we had to walk a lot outside in Central Park and then later on in Riverside park. That was after 3 plus hours in the American Museum of Natural History which was awesome-dinosaurs and huge display of gems and rocks which Nik is really into- and the earth sciences and the new Hayden planetarium show about the "Dark Universe" which I don 't totally understand but it sure was gorgeous! A few stops for coffee or a sit . :-) An amazing place !
The blip is in "strawberry fields" in Central
Park, a memorial to John Lennon across the street from the Dakota building where he was murdered in 1980- it's a tear shaped garden with trees plants and stones donated by 121 countries. I like this group - mostly tourists I'm sure- to show the nice day- Nik has the seahawks sweatshirt on. He's seen 3 more like it in NY.
Tomorrow it's supposed to get cold and rain! ( of course it is because we have tickets for the Statue of Liberty bright and early! We have rain gear. )
Nik's observation for the day. " why do these New Yorkers WALK so much ? Also he LOVES every place we've eaten. ( hard to miss here....)

Sorry I just can't manage much more than posting a picture....
