First Suntan of the year!!!

What a stunning day on the coast.. windless.. full sunshine not a cloud in the sky (well nearly cloudless!)..and warm. I can feel my face has caught the sun today.. yay! I love it when you go home after a few days in Scotland and people ask you where you have been on holiday because you look so brown!! Not there yet of course.. but a few days to go yet!

For the new project on Seaside architecture this is a shot of the old Granary at Elie in Fife and the lighthouse beyond. The Granary is thought to be an 18th century building and was converted to residential use a few years ago.. I remember it when the local fishermen would be sitting in the downstairs section repairing their pots and storing their paraphenalia.. it is squeaky clean and smart now but in the winter the waves crash right over the building making it an inhospitable place to be
