I wish ...........

....... this home would be demolished and a new one built in is place. All the windows were smashed in the earthquake, the foundations are broken, the roof is cracked, bricks and tiles have fallen off so rain pours into the house, and the internal structural wall is on a lean.

We see this sight every time we drive up our street and it makes me very sad as this home belongs to a very dear lady who is in her 80's. Her insurance company has been promising to rebuild her home. The plans have been drawn, a builder has his sign at the gate, but still nothing happens.

It is just a little home, on solid land, so surely it is not too much to ask that our 80 year old neighbour can live and enjoy life in her own home.
