The glorious Devon countywide near Filleigh - with the country house, Castle Hill with its follies, cattle on the hillside and all the trees thinking about turning green, heralding spring - and the rhododendron blooming beautifully. The small river has swans nesting and there were pheasant in the fields as well. Stunning sunshiny day!
