Sunday is a Funday

Sunday was beautiful. Like summer beautiful! The sun was out....our yard was warm, and we were carefree! Sure, I had a few chores to do...but by in large, that stuff can wait. Life is too short. We spent quite a bit of the day outside together with our pets....and books.....and nature.

Sugar finished up the story she had been working on. I blipped the the day I found her working on it in her tree. She was soooooo excited for me to read it.

Here it is:

"The Third Floor"

Chapter one

It all started when the window opened. Once there was a girl named Lily. Lily had a chair with doves on it. Lily sat on her chair, then the door bell rang. Lily opened the window to see who was there. There was no one. Lily went down stairs to the door. The window was still open. Then a blue light went around the chair. Lily was making breakfast and thinking about who rang the door bell. Then the blue light went away. Lily remembered about the window and went to close it. Lily didn't know about the blue light. she went down stairs to breakfast and that's when it happened.

Chapter two

The next day Lily called her sister, Cierra. "Hi Cierra. Want to come over? said Lily. "Sure. I'm on my way. " said Cierra. Fifteen minutes later, Cierra was there. "Want to go to the park?" asked Lily. "Yes, let's go!" Cierra said. Lily and Cierra were there when Lily looked up and saw doves. "That looks like they are coming from where my house is." said Lily. Lily wondered about it. She couldn't stop thinking about it.

Chapter three

Lily and Cierra got home. "Bye, Cierra." said Lily. "Bye!" Cierra said as she went home. Lily went up stairs to sit in her chair. She looked at the chair and screamed! Lily remembered the doves at the park. She knew that they were the ones. Lily wondered how the doves flew away. Lily sat on the chair. The blue light came back! The chair disappeared with Lily on it. Lily was in a castle. She had fun in the castle, but she wanted to go home. Lily sat down. The blue light came back. Lily went home.

Chapter four

The next day, Lily was thinking about the blue light. She sat in her empty chair. This time a green light came. Lily disappeared with the chair. No one knows what ever happened to Lily, the chair or the doves. They were never seen again.

The end.

Gosh....she is so very proud. Look at this proud face! She climbed up in her tree to wait while I read it. I picked up my camera which was already outside with us and the baby bunnies, and took some pictures of my happy girl. I'm a very proud mama!
