Mersehead

The third and final holiday outing. We had planned to visit the final in a trio of castles - Drumlanrig - but a quick look on the website showed that most of the trails were closed due to forestry operations on diseased larch trees.
Mersehead was my next choice - no castle, but a beautiful beach and an RSPB reserve, too. It did not disappoint. Here is D taking photos of the Lake District hills.
I saw the year's first blackcap :-)
And... my second blip book arrived today - much joy in looking over and remembering those 365 days.
