Birthday portrait, belated

Today is the day for going to my mum's and doing her ironing and scrubbing, etc. And this was a quick blip of her granddaughter standing in her garden under the apple trees. Because - as you know - there was a birthday on Wednesday, so a portrait seemed called for. Does look a bit as though she's staring out to see, doesn't it, but it was very bright..

Blimey, my back aches from standing at the ironing board - how pathetic. I think it's a cup of tea now and a good lounge before I start on the supper..
