The shadow of glass

The unlikely mediator in the war between light and dark was a shadow. But, crucially, it was the shadow of a glass table and retained something of the light.




NB Yesterday's (tomorrow's) picture was taken yesterday (Thursday) but, when I uploaded it this morning (Friday) the blip app labelled it as today's (Friday's) picture. This picture was taken today (Friday) but, to restore cosmic balance, I have put it in yesterday's (Friday's - no, hang on, Thursday's) slot. Phew.
