Sky High

The Links Market is reputedly the longest street fair in Europe, running almost one mile in length along the Esplanade, Kirkcaldy, Fife.

The Links Market is officially recorded as having started in 1304, then in 1305 Edward the first granted the burgh of Kirkcaldy the right to hold an annual fair at the Easter Octave.

It has of course changed over the years and the big rides are a modern addition.

Over the next few days, I anticipate that my blips will draw on this event for subject matter.

Today, I have featured a very high version of 'chairoplanes' called 'Sky High'
