Lalbagh Gardens, Bangalore, India

Lalbagh Gardens
The Lalbah Gardens were laid out in 1760. Its is commendable that a busy city like Bangalore has still retained over 200 acres of botanical gardens as a green lung for the city. The lakes at the far end had Purple Swamphen and Pariah Kites hawking over the water. I took a photograph of a person seated on a bench, dwarfed by the giant trees on one of the lake embankments.
