Rhododendron 'Etta Burrows'

This hybrid must be one of the most spectacular reds----especially when the sun is shining through the flowers and setting them afire. We have five of these shrubs planted strategically around the pond so that no matter where you are standing at any time during the day, the sun (when it's out) will be highlighting one of these huge shrubs. Gaudy, perhaps, but one of my all time favorite red rhodies, esp. during this early bloom time when color in the garden is still somewhat at a premium.
