First Blossom

Another beautiful Spring morning with warm sunshine.

My wife planted a Patio Plum tree last year and now we have the first blossom. We don't think it will mean any fruit this year but at least we know that the tree is 'on its way to maturity and the promise of fruit to come. Just like Easter Day is the promise of hope and a new resurrected life to come.

We have family visiting us for the week - and then many other family and friends will be coming to celebrate my coming of age - the third age lol - next Saturday, when I will be 70 years young!
