Larch flowers

Today was not my day. I was leading my walking group today and it rained and the wind blew hard for the whole walk - and the leader is responsible for the weather, good or bad. And as if that wasn't enough, when we returned to Peebles, our meeting place about five miles away, we could see that it hadn't been raining there at all - or at least not much. And it hadn't rained in Edinburgh at all. The group were kind and let me off quite gently all things considered.
