Out for a stroll

We left the car at our friends after last nights first BBQ of the year and walked back under a fabulous sky - Mars and Jupiter were spectacular - but so was the rest of the sky. Living out here we see such a different sky to the ones I remember from growing up in towns and cities - slightly tipsy we spent a whilst last night playing spot the satellites - we even managed to see a couple of early Lyrid's.

So this morning was the walk back to retrieve the car. Another glorious day - the air quality is just amazing at the moment - the distant hills looked great, the early frost still glinting on the northern aspects. Once we were into the sun it was short sleeve order weather & we strolled along taking our time. As we got into Raisebeck I saw these little fellows (I think they're Angora lambs) out for a stroll of their own - happily trotting along the tops of the drystone wall as you do.
