THE "VEINS" OF AUTUMN....

.... what a stunning day!

Had the most fantastic day (a Blip meetup) at Mount Wilson in the Blue Mountains today with Walking Wombat (Barb) and Newcastle Downunder (Jen) along with Catherine and my wife Wendy.

The area was "throbbing" with activity due it's renowned cool climate colour tones at this time of the year. We arrived and met up with the "team" and set about looking through Dennarque Gardens. It is over 30 years since the garden has been open to the public, and it was just a picture of beauty!.

At one point Jen got down and dirty in search of a fungi shot! (Definitely look in large), and we all found some fungi on a tree! Certainly took our interest.

My pick from all of the shots was this one with the sun "playing" on the leaves and a shadow of it's twig showing through.

Well what a day, and at the end there is always the long road home..... at the end of which we had a fantastic picnic in the park chatting about the days fun.

Thanks to Barb, Catherine, and Jen for making it such an enjoyable day Wendy and I had a lot of fun.

Enjoy, and definitely have a look in LARGE to see the veins, and take the time to check the links, thank you.
