Blooming Montana

Blooming Montana
The kitchen units etc were delivered first thing this morning as the warehouse would be closed over the Easter Holidays. All the plaster was stripped from the extension walls back to the brickwork which fortunately is in good order and plaster board put up which has the advantage of straitening out the slightly wonky brickwork. Ceiling insulated and plaster boarded. More electrics rewired which meant cutting through plaster in original part of kitchen. There is now a good layer of dust everywhere! Escaped to have coffee with first friend J and then daughter H and friends.
After lunch gofer went for a walk up and around the canal. I stayed in case the lads had any queries and enjoyed sitting in the garden, contemplating and bronzing. I watched the blue tits who provided I stayed still were untroubled by my presence. The goldfinches also came onto the sunflower feeder but were much more twitchy. The clematis montana is looking superb on our back wall.
