St. Andrews Church

A weekly trip over to the step-daughters today to deliver Easter eggs for the 3 grand kids and a very nice Sunday lunch . The day did not start out very nice but this afternoon the sun was shining nicely .
On the way home we stopped off at a very nice church that we pass to take a few shots .

So here it is St Andrew's Church, Boothby Graffoe. Also in this shot is Julie and my son Jae enjoying a walk around the grave yard.

The Anglican parish Church of St Andrew is a Grade II listed building and was rebuilt in the early-mid 19th century, designed by W A Nicholson. The original Church was destroyed by a hurricane in the late 17th century.

Inside, the only remains of the original building is an inscribed tablet beneath the west window, dated early 17th century. The west tower is an early English design with a neo-decorated nave, chancel and north porch.

No work tomorrow so going to enjoy a relaxing evening with a few beers hope you all have a good evening to .
