A Damp Squib

After two lovely days weather wise, today was not. Alternating between drizzle and full blown rain it wasn't really the day for outdoor exploring. We had a little adventure planned out near Maidenhead but that fell through (possibly a good result given the rain) but instead had a meander around South Bucks. Lots of big, expensive looking houses, how the other half live.

With the rain falling ever harder, the one thing that didn't seem to be turning grey were bright yellow fields of oil seed rape which looked even brighter than usual. In places they appeared to be fully ripened. Once I (Chris) found a direction to face that didn't result in constant water landing on the lens, it was an obvious choice for a blip.

Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow, at least we've got the Chinese Grand Prix and British Touring Cars recorded to fill the evening!!!
