Bluebell Magic

In sharp contrast to yesterday, we woke up to bright sunshine this morning and decided to make an early run out to the bluebells in Dockey Wood on the Ashridge estate. We got there early enough to avoid too many other visitors although there were a few other photographers making the most of the carpet of flowers and lovely light. I (Chris) failed to remember my tripod plate hence the higher than ideal ISO for the images but I think we got away with it. More images here.

On our way home we stopped for a fantastic pub lunch near Ashridge. A chance to sit, relax, read the papers and have some fabulous food.

We came home after lunch to finish up some of the Spring cleaning jobs, we've made a real improvement over this weekend in the house.
