Same Place, Different Weather

Today was the third day of the JK, and again we were at the same assembly area. The weather was a little worse. The top half of the picture is yesterday's view and the bottom shows the restricted view today with the mist right down. The forecast suggested rain starting at 13:00, and this is what happened with a large thunder clap and some heavy spots. Luckily, it was just a shower and the rain didn't really begin in earnest until after 15:00 when most people had finished. I started just before 13:00 so was only slightly wet. I didn't think I had as good a run today, as I missed a few controls and had to relocate. As it turned out I finished further up the field so that was a pleasant surprise.
