New Year, New Life

Photographing paintings...

...seems a strange thing to do when I think about it. I suppose I do it to keep a record of ones I see that take my fancy in some way. Spent this afternoon wandering around the Tate Britain with a couple of friends, randomly looking at whatever happened to take our fancy.
This is 'The Woman in White', Frederick Walker, 1871. It ties in with yesterday's literary walk where I was talking about Wilkie Collins standing in Harley Street where most of this novel was written.
Why only the top half of the picture? Too much glare from the glass otherwise...
