Kite from Kitesurfer in Tree ~ Golden Gardens Park

4/21/2014 ~ Kite from Kitesurfer in Tree, Golden Gardens Park on Puget Sound, Ballard Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

While taking a walk on beach, on an evening that was windy with a chill that ran right through you, I came upon a Kite from a Kitesurfer that was stuck up in the tree. The owner could not retrieve it, he or someone else called the Fire Department. When the Ladder Truck appeared they saw no one was up in the tree that needed to be rescued and drove away.

There were also 7 sailboats out racing and they were having quite a nice ride with all the bodies onboard providing ballast on the high side of the boats.

There were also a couple of large groups of people cooking at the picnic sites. It was nice to see so much activity on windy, cold night with the clouds heavy and looking like it was going to start raining. It never did rain by time I left and the Kite was still high in the tree.
