Chaffinch

Not my usual Sunday morning. With snow on the ground I didn't bother driving into town to do recycling.

A shot I saw yesterday was to be my blip for today, but to my great disappointment, the snowy mountain, lit be the warm pink glow of the sunrise was completely shrouded in mist!

But, the birds were happily coming to the feeding station in spite of the snow, so I took a few shots. I rather liked the way Mr Chaffinch was holding the sunflower seed on this one.
