How lovely is this white painted house with the lilac Wisteria growing all around it? So pretty, it had to be my Blip.
On Sunday my Aunt and Buz took the kids to London Zoo, they had an absolute ball. The weather was fab and they got loads of treats! We met up in the evening and went to The Diner in Covent Garden - awesome burgers and finally tried their Hard Shakes - a massive ice cream milk shake with a little (ok a lot) of liquor slung in for good measure :-) as good as it sounds!
During the day P and I had an amazing time just wandering around, being us and doing whatever took our fancy. We had brunch, then went to a Victorian house which has been turned into a museum of sorts. it belonged to Linley Sambourne, a Punch illustrator, and has barely changed since the late 1800s. A very entertaining actress welcomes you and gives you a tour, she is fully costumed and acts as Linley's wife - very amusing and interesting. Certainly one of those hidden gems of London. Here it is.
Sunday was fab, tomorrow we leave for the coast.
