Bard Stars

Or as Marilyn Monroe would have sung "Happy Birthday Mr Shakespeare".

We had what could be classed as a mini blip-meet in Stratford tonight - Nikonabike, Technophobe, LooseCanon and me. We had heard about the firework display to celebrate Shakespeare's 450th birthday, and kick-off time was scheduled for after tonight's performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. We trotted along, not knowing what to expect really, which is always the best way, as it was fantastic. Music by the RSC orchestra and fireworks set off from the roof of the theatre and also from the other side of the river.

You can also see Shakespeare's image lit up in lights towards the bottom right, on the theatre wall.

Sparks flew and we all had a super time.
