Filtering through

Our usual morning walk around the St Ives Estate was shrouded in mist as we set off to climb up through the woods past Lady Blantyre's rock.

Passing the golf course you could see the mist hovering below a blue sky so we knew the sun wasn't far away.

Through the trees at the top of the estate the sun finally started to break through with lovely effects. Here you can see D, C and S (Corinthian Column and Wilsden Walker) heading into the mist with the sun coming through above them.

The Westie is not our usual Toby as his walker has gone on holiday, but Hamish and I was walking behind with his owner A.

Lots of wild flowers to be seen in the woods and bluebells starting to make a lovely show.

A very warm and muggy morning and still no sign of ducklings or goslings on Coppice Pond.
